As a locally owned company, Northbridge understands the uniqueness of New
England and embraces that individuality in each of their senior living communities.
The founders, Jim Coughlin and Wendy Nowokunski, are native to the area and
after over 25 years of experience in senior living, were inspired to create a company
focused on serving seniors and their families with respect, compassion, and integrity.
Core to the success of Northbridge is its people. It starts with a passion for caring
for seniors and a desire to always do the right thing. Each caregiver is extensively
trained through Northbridge’s Learning for Life program, which combines inperson training, online classes, group learning sessions and peer mentors.
Northbridge is about looking beyond everyday management of senior living
communities to develop environments, programs and partnerships that enhance
the lives of our residents, their families, our associates and the communities in
which we serve.
